Alice Phelps is a classical cross-over double bassist and vocalist who enjoys creating genre-bending music for curious minds. She releases original music under the artist name Phellotape, and plays double bass for a number of ensembles including The Untold Orchestra, Kaleidoscope Orchestra and The Northern Film Orchestra. She is the musical director of The Bradford Friendship Choir, a singing group for anyone seeking sanctuary, their friends and allies.
